When we first moved to Naples we were overwhelmed by the many restaurants on 5th Avenue and 3rd Street South. There are so many restaurant options in town and we quickly found that it’s either hit or miss, not much in the middle, and most will be high priced.
To be honest, there are a lot of tourist traps here, and if you aren’t careful, you will find yourself with an overpriced yet subpar meal.
Here’s the deal, we don’t mind paying a lot for a meal, but it better be a damn good meal.
Not only have I personally eaten at all the restaurants on this list, I’ve also crowd sourced recommendations of where the locals eat in Naples, FL.
There are a ton of other great restaurants here in Naples. We have great brunch spots, hip bars, food trucks, and even a few hole in the walls. This is the list of restaurants that are priced a little higher for date night, but definitely worth the money. No tourist traps on this list!

The Bay House

Located on the bay, The Bay House is not only a great date night spot, it’s an amazing place for Sunday brunch. Head there for seafood and cocktails with a delightfully southern spin.
The Turtle Club

Ask anyone in Naples for a beach front fine dining recommendation and they will say The Turtle Club. While there are several laid back beach front dining options in Naples, The Turtle Club is the only fine dining on the beach. Located next to each other on 5th Avenue South, both Bar Tulia and Osteria Tulia are great options for date night. Osteria Tulia, Naples, Florida’s first osteria, serves exquisitely prepared rustic Italian cuisine in the ambiance of a convivial, lovingly restored Italian farmhouse. Head next door to Bar Tulia for a similar, yet more laid back menu. The Mercato location for Bar Tulia is perfect if you are on the North side of town.

Tony Ridgway has been serving Naples since 1971. When you ask long time residents to name their favorite restaurant, many of them will say Ridgway’s because it is Naples hometown bar and grill. Sea Salt is absolutely a must try for date night in Naples. When we first moved here, it was the number one recommended spot by all of our friends. Chef Fabrizio Aielli puts his Venetian touch on Florida’s freshest seafood and produce, using organic, sustainable ingredients from local famers and day boat fishermen. His menus change daily which make it a fun surprise.
Campiello

In the mood for Italian? You’ll love the innovative and award winning cuisine at Campiello. The atmosphere on 3rd street south is impressive too. Voted one of the top 100 restaurants on Open Table, Campiello is such a treat for date night.

I am delighted to have a fine dining steak & seafood restaurant on my side of town that actually feels bright and airy. The food is your standard steak & seafood menu executed very well while the vibe is fresh and bright. No more dark and dingy steak houses for us! This is most certainly our new favorite date night spot in North Naples.
Old Vines Mercato

Old Vines Mercato is a charming and elegant wine bar and restaurant located in the heart of Mercato. Known for its extensive wine list and sophisticated small plates, Old Vines offers a cozy yet refined atmosphere perfect for wine lovers and food enthusiasts alike. I’m particularly a fan of the local mushrooms on the menu! Whether you’re enjoying happy hour with friends or indulging in a full dinner, Old Vines delivers an exceptional experience with an emphasis on quality and flavor.
Pro Tip: This is the best place to visit if you want a late night drink in North Naples
Hogfish Harry’s
Location: 600 Neapolitan Way, Naples, FL 34103
Hours: Daily, 11 AM–9 PM
Chef Everett Fromm has a passion for local, fresh, and sustainable seafood. Many of the ingredients are sourced locally, and you can taste the difference! You’ll find fresh produce from Farmer Mike’s, local Florida seafood, and organically raised chicken all prepared in the scratch kitchen.
Pro tip: definitely try the hogfish! I personally like the crispy fried hogfish sandwich.
USS Nemo
Location: 3745 Tamiami Trail N, Naples, FL 34103
Hours: Daily, 11 AM–2 PM, 4- 9 PM
Nemo’s is known for a wide variety of seafood, including 4 different prime tuna entrees. The restaurant offers a unique nautical-themed atmosphere and an exceptional menu with dishes like miso broiled sea bass and their famous lobster bisque. With Asian-inspired flavors and consistently fresh ingredients, it’s a great spot for both special occasions and casual dining. Be sure to make a reservation as it’s a local favorite!
The Hampton Social
Location: 9114 Strada Pl, Naples, FL 34108
Hours: Daily, 11:30 AM–10 PM, Opens at 10 on weekends for brunch
The Hampton Social Naples opened in the popular Mercato Shopping Center in North Naples in December 2018. The brand’s first location to open outside of the Chicagoland area, the lifestyle concept (owned, operated and designed by restaurateur Brad Parker) is a dining hotspot that evokes East Coast living in every aspect – from the white-washed, nautical walls to the signature seafood fare. Jimmy P’s Charred

Famous for its wagyu beef, this family-owned spot is a local favorite for carnivores. With great service and creative cuisine, Jimmy P’s Charred serves some of the best steaks and burgers in town. The laid-back vibe and full bar make it an ideal spot for a leisurely meal with friends or family.
FUSE Global Cuisine

It’s probably no surprise to find that Naples isn’t heavy on global cuisine. We have a lot of steakhouses, Italian restaurants, and sushi places. Naples is just now started to get more international food influence. When it comes to finding a good marriage of ethnic flavors with a BBQ theme, FUSE is the place to go. You can find Cuban, Asian, and even some downright strange protein like wild kangaroo!
Andre’s Steakhouse

A true gem for steak lovers, Andre’s Steakhouse is a taste of New York right in Naples.
