Enjoy the distinct taste of Hawaii with every sip at Bad Ass Coffee. This island-inspired coffee shop brings the authentic taste of Kona coffee to Naples. While Bad Ass Coffee Naples may not be the most local of local coffee shops in Naples due to it’s big brand backing, it is certainly a local staple here and still locally owned and operated. I can honestly say that this spot is popular among tourists and locals. If you find yourself wanting a coffee before walking down the Naples Pier, this is where you’ll want to stop!
Favorite sips: It sounds strange, I know, but Bad Ass Coffee is known for their banana drinks. I’m personally a fan of the monkey mocha.
Tony’s off Third

Tony’s off Third is a true gem hidden off the beaten path. This local coffee shop boasts a loyal following thanks to its made-from-scratch breakfast pastries, a range of coffee drinks and cozy courtyard ambiance complete with a fountain. You’ll find locals meeting for coffee alongside visitors who keep going back to Tony’s because it is just that special. Sukie’s wine shop is located insides so I’ll often end up meeting for coffee and leaving with a couple bottles of wine and homemade carrot cake.
Favorite sips & bites: A latte and a made from scratch cinnamon roll. Clifford, the pastry chef makes the fresh daily. His pastries are a must try for anyone living or visiting Naples.
The Brick Coffee & Bar

The Brick is the most perfect location on 5th for a coffee shop and bar. While the coffee and food might not be anything particularly special to local foodies, the location is worth it. And let’s be honest, everything taste better on vacation. Or on staycation! The best part about The Brick is that it’s open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., making it a great place to grab a light bite and a glass of wine when all the restaurants on 5th Avenue South get crowded.
Favorite sips & bites: Honestly, I find the location to be more appealing than the coffee and food. However, my 9 year old loves the bagels!
5th Avenue Coffee Company & 6th Street Diner

Located in the heart of Naples, 5th Avenue Coffee Company is a downtown coffee staple, probably the most widely known Naples coffee shop. This popular spot offers a wide variety of coffee drinks, breakfast, lunch, milkshakes, ice cream, beer and wine. With its convenient location and bustling atmosphere, it’s a great spot to people-watch and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. Much like The Brick, this spot is more popular with tourists, however locals do love it. Even out of season, you’ll see people eating inside and outside.

Favorite sips & bites: If you’re going to go, you might as well stop in for breakfast or lunch too! I personally think the food is better than the coffee.
GLDN Hour Coffee Co.

GLDN Hour Coffee Co is a charming woman-owned and operated coffee shop offering craft coffee, specialty teas, and a delightful selection of gluten-free and sourdough baked goods. Whether you’re grabbing a quick healthy snack to go or settling in to enjoy the vibrant downtown atmosphere, GLDN Hour is a beautiful spot to recharge. Open weekdays from 7:30 AM to 3 PM (closed on Tuesdays) and weekends until 3 PM, it’s a must-visit for anyone looking for high-quality drinks and wholesome treats.
Cafe Marquise
520 Park St , Naples, FL
Cafe Marquise brings a taste of Turkey to Naples with expertly crafted coffee, authentic Turkish desserts, sweet and savory crepes, fresh smoothies, and a cozy café atmosphere. If you’re looking to try something beyond the usual latte or cappuccino, this is one of the most unique coffee experiences in Naples. Their traditional Turkish coffee is brewed slowly and served unfiltered, creating a rich, bold cup that’s thicker than espresso with a smooth, full-bodied flavor. It’s the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy something different. Alongside their coffee menu, you’ll find flaky pistachio baklava, chocolate baklava, delicate kadaif, and a tempting selection of made-to-order crepes.
Favorite sips & bites: The Turkish coffee is a must-try. If you’ve never had it before, expect something similar in strength to Cuban coffee or an espresso shot, but with a thicker texture and a richer, earthier flavor. Pair it with the pistachio baklava for an authentic treat that’s worth lingering over.
Bontà Bakery

When Bontà Bakery opened its doors in early 2024, the foodies of Naples went wild. Why? Because everything, and I mean everything, is picture perfect. From the gelato to the paninis to the pastries. Everything just screams authenticity and modernity in this 900 square foot traditional Italian bakery overlooking 5th Avenue. But let’s look past the Instagram worthiness of Bontà and talk coffee. Bontà is much more known for food, but that doesn’t mean you should skip the coffee. The espresso menu is authentically Italian.
Favorite sips & bites: The Affogato is the perfect blend of rich espresso and house-made gelato. I like to stop by for coffee and grab one of the huge paninis to go so I can have lunch later. They are actually big enough to split!
Café on the Bay

Located right on the waterfront in Naples Bay Resort and Marina, Café on the Bay offers stunning views and a serene atmosphere that’s perfect for sipping coffee by the water. This resort coffee shop has become a favorite among both locals and tourists alike, thanks to its picturesque location and high-quality coffee. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick espresso or want to linger over a leisurely breakfast, Café on the Bay provides the ideal setting to relax and soak in the beauty of Naples.

Narrative Coffee Roasters

For coffee lovers who appreciate the artistry behind their brew, locally owned Narrative Coffee Roasters is a must-visit. This is actually my go-to coffee shop in Naples. The most fun thing about Narrative is the seasonal drink menu. The baristas are true culinary artists who create new recipes and even compete in barista competitions! Narrative has been roasting in Naples since 2017 and opened a brick and mortar coffee shop in 2020. Narrative’s dedication to the entire coffee supply chain shines through in every cup. Immerse yourself in the narrative of their coffee as you savor the rich flavors and complex aromas.
Favorite sips & bites: I don’t personally have a favorite because I’m ALWAYS trying the seasonal drinks. Some of them sound crazy (like strawberry basil espressoda!?), but I swear all of the seasonal drinks are worth a try. I also love grabbing the Green Bites Go while I’m there. I’ve never been upset by trying a new drink.
Acopio

A newcomer to the Naples coffee scene, Acopio has quickly gained a cult following. The locally owned Colombian coffee shop is truly a hidden gem smack dab in the middle of North Naples right on Highway 41. While it’s unlikely that you’ll notice it from the busy road, you’ll be surprised to find that Acopio is always busy, and not with people coming and going for takeaway coffee, but with people who are meeting friends and sitting down a while. This is only fitting since acopio is a Spanish word that means to gather. I promise once you walk in to Acopio you will understand why so many people want to gather there over coffee, chocolate and absolutely amazing Colombian food. The friendly staff certainly help!
Favorite sips & bites: I also love a good hot chocolate. I’m so happy that Acopio has an option for either 70% or 100%. I’m also a huge fan of the flat white. Do not leave Acopio without a bar of chocolate. I promise you will thank me later! And please please please try some of the Colombian food. The empanadas come with the most amazing Colombian sauces. The pandebonos (Colombian cheese bread) keep me coming back for more every time.
Crème de la Crème

Crème de la Crème is more of a cafe than coffee shop, but that shouldn’t stop you from stopping in to grab a cup of coffee if you are in the Parkshore Plaza on 41. Recently under new ownership, Crème de la Crème has revamped the menu, enhanced the coffee quality, and introduced speciality espresso drinks. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sight of stunning pastries displayed in glass cases. Crème de la Crème is perfect for those who want to indulge in a little luxury with their morning brew or enjoy a peaceful afternoon in a sophisticated setting.
Favorite sips & bites: I’m a huge fan of their spicy honey latte—it’s the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Pair it with one of their buttery croissants for an unbeatable treat. If you’re in the mood for something savory, their quiches are a must-try! You can also usually find a mimosa in my hand when I’m there. That fresh squeezed orange juice is just too good to pass up.
Winfield Street Coffee

Winfield, a Connecticut based coffee shop and deli, is known for its exceptional coffee and friendly service. This charming coffee shop that opened in 2022 in the old M&G Farm Stand Cafe on 41, offers a welcoming atmosphere and a menu that caters to a variety of tastes. Whether you’re craving a classic latte or an absolutely amazing breakfast sandwich, Winfields has you covered.
Favorite sips & bites: Iced whipped coffee for the win all day long, every day. I’m also a huge fan of the croissant breakfast sandwiches that are made to order. You really can’t go wrong with any breakfast sando on the menu.
Black Letter Coffee & Cafe
4350 Gulf Shore Boulevard N #506
Tucked into the Shops at Venetian Village, Black Letter Coffee Cafe is a favorite for both neighborhood regulars and visitors (the Naples Trolley even makes a stop here!). This cozy spot offers everything from traditional coffee and tea to refreshing bubble tea. Alongside their drinks, you’ll find an expansive food menu featuring sweet and savory crepes, waffles, and a variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee to-go or sitting down to enjoy a leisurely meal with a waterfront view, Black Letter Coffee Cafe is a welcoming and delicious stop.
Favorite sips & bites: Their bubble tea options are fun and refreshing, and the crepes are perfect for a special treat while strolling through Venetian Village.
Foxtail Coffee
2700 Immokalee Road, Ste 1 Naples, FL 34110
Foxtail Coffee, a roastery that began in 2016 in Winter Park, FL, brings a modern twist to the classic coffee shop experience. Located next to Jason’s Deli, this is a great spot to meet friends in North Naples for coffee and lunch. Once thing you will notice immediately is the giant mural of the Naples Pier. I wouldn’t be surprised if people don’t go there just to get an Instagram worthy coffee shot. Go for the mural, stay for the coffee.
Favorite sips & bites: I always get excited to see cafe con leche and Cuban coffee on a menu, so those are my go-to when going to Foxtail. While nothing compares to Cuban coffee from a true Cuban cafe, you won’t be disappointed from the one at Foxtail!
Silva’s Bakery
10823 Tamiami Trail N, Naples, FL 34108
While primarily known for its delectable pastries, Silva’s Bakery also offers a fantastic selection of coffee drinks. This local owned & multigenerational Venezuelan bakery is the perfect place next time you want to try something new. Go hungry because once you take a look at the bakery display you will want one of everything. Pair your favorite pastry with a rich espresso or a creamy latte for the ultimate indulgence.
Favorite sips & bites: If you like chocolate, you have to try the mocha savoy, a mix of espresso, Savoy chocolate, and steamed milk. I’m a huge fan of their arepas and always end up buying extra pastries as impulse purchases!
SugaSuga Naples
5620 Strand Blvd C2, Naples, FL 34110
SugaSuga is the newest to our Naples, FL coffee scene. They took over when Carol’s House closed the North Naples spot and decided to hone in on the East Naples shop. The mother-son owners are from Albania and bring a fresh European vibe to North Naples. Watch out, because this crew doesn’t just stop with coffee, they have amazing food. I’m hoping they keep going with the food. Maybe a restaurant soon? I’m crossing my fingers. But seriously, stop by for the coffee if you are going to the Juliet Naples or the North Naples Target. You will thank me.
Favorite sips & bites: As far as coffee goes, get what you want. They have legit delicious coffee. When it comes to food, you need a Burek—phyllo dough layers stuffed with caramelized onions, spinach, feta cheese and egg mixture.
Mercato Italiano
306 9th St N, Naples, FL 34102
Mercato Italiano is a small Italian market offering a wide variety of imported Italian cuisine and products. The owner, Valerio, is from Sicily, and opened Mercato Italiano in 2021 because he was homesick for his country’s food. In the market, you’ll find a coffee bar serving authentic Italian espresso and pastries. Mercato Italiano also boasts a full sit down lunch menu that is worth a visit. I often stop in to purchase my favorite Italian vinegar (Giusepee Giusti) and end up buying wine, pasta, pastries and of course, Italian espresso. It isn’t often that you find a gem that serves up so many great things in such a tiny space!
Favorite sips & bites: Italian espresso, hands down. You also can’t go wrong with anything in the bakery case. Everything is fresh. In fact, it is so fresh that if you stop by after 3, everything in the case is half off to make room for more freshly baked goods the next day.
Pro tip: Mark your calendar to try Mercato Italiano during Sizzle Dining. The lunch menu is a steal of a deal. I don’t think you can get a better deal on authentic Italian food anywhere else in Naples. Learn more about Sizzle Dining here.
East Naples Coffee Shops
Wolfmoon x Kaleidoscope Garden Club

If I had to choose the most beautiful spot to enjoy a coffee and croissant in Naples, FL, it would undoubtedly be the Kaleidoscope Garden Club in collaboration with Wolfmoon. This charming destination is part flower shop, part croissant bakery, part coffee haven, and part gift shop featuring unique finds and specialty foods. Complete with a serene garden lounge area, it’s easily one of the loveliest spots in town.
Favorite sips & bites: While this post is mostly about coffee, Wolfmoon is all about the croissants. The coffee is good, but the croissants are absolutely phenomenal. You can’t go wrong with any of the croissants, but I’m partial to a croissant sandwich with ham and cheese.
Bayshore Bodega
3248 Bayshore Dr, Naples, FL 34112
Bayshore Bodega located in the heart of the Bayshore Arts District is a one-of-a-kind spot that blends a Spanish café, local vendor market, and waterfront coffee shop all in one. It’s Naples’ only waterfront coffee shop, and you can feel the community energy the moment you walk in.
This locally loved bodega is all about connection—between neighbors, small businesses, and great food. You’ll find local favorites like Airport Donuts, CDL Empanadas (my personal favorite empanadas in town!), and vendors including Cathy’s Herbs, EcoWave, and Aura Alchemy teas.
Favorite sips & bites: The BodEGGa breakfast sandwich did not disappoint—it’s hearty, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with their coffee or tea selection.
Pro tip: Visit on a Bayshore Sunday Market day to experience the buzz of the local community—the market fills the parking lot, the Warehouse next door, and the waterfront. Then, come back on a slower weekday to enjoy the peaceful, laid-back coffeehouse vibes and stunning water views.
Bean to Cup Coffee Lounge

Bean to Cup Coffee Lounge located in the Bayshore Arts District is a whole vibe. Take one step in the door and you will understand. This women owned coffee lounge is so inviting you might not ever leave! This spot is perfect for relaxing with a good book or catching up with friends. Everything is organic, the beans are locally roasted, and it is pet friendly.
Favorite sips & bites: The smoothies and bowls are so delicious due to their use of fresh, local ingredients. As far as coffee goes, I typically get whatever is seasonally available because everything is just that good.
The Bean Trolley Cafe

The Bean Trolley Cafe is not only a fun spot for coffee, but also donuts! They have fresh donuts that actually rival Krispy Kreme. The Bean Trolley Cafe is actually a spin off of The Bean mobile coffee delivery in Marco Island. The Trolley is the first permanent location for The Bean and we are so glad they chose to set up shop here in Naples.
Favorite sips & bites: Seasonally flavored cold brew and a donut.
Carole’s House Cafe & French Bakery (a.k.a. Carole’s Place)

Carole’s House is truly an authentic French bakery. Carole, the owner, is from Marseille, France and has brought a piece of her home to Naples. Savor the aroma of freshly baked croissants while enjoying a cup of coffee made with high-quality beans.
Favorite sips & bites: You absolutely have to get a croissant at Carole’s House. I personally like the ham and gruyere croissant sandwich. As for coffee, I’m a latte girl at Carole’s.
