If you’re looking for a hotel in a convenient location in Naples, FL, look no further than Compass by Margaritaville Hotel Naples. My family of five recently enjoyed a two-night stay in one of their spacious two-bedroom suites, and it was exactly what we needed to unwind, enjoy great amenities, and spend quality time together.
I always personally vet things before sharing them with you, so when Compass by Margaritaville opened in Naples at the old Staybridge Suites location, I knew a staycation would be in order! This well-appointed suite hotel provided us with everything for a relaxing and memorable stay. It’s a fantastic place for families, couples, or anyone visiting Naples to see family or friends, and it’s filled with island-inspired charm and the laid-back vibes of a Margaritaville state of mind.
Compass by Margaritaville Hotel Naples is an Ideal Destination for Families Visiting Naples
Visitors to the paradise coast of Naples have a lot of options when it comes to lodging. Not only do we have a great selection of high end resorts, we also have a ton of moderately priced hotels. On top of that we have a lot of vacation homes in the area. With so many options it can be difficult to decide where to stay.
After spending a couple nights at the Compass by Margaritaville Hotel in Naples, I can report back that this location is perfect for anyone who enjoys the independence that comes with on suite kitchen, while also having the convenience of a breakfast buffet, an on site restaurant & bar, and a pool.

Here are some of the top reasons I would recommend Compass by Margaritaville Hotel Naples:
1. Spacious and Comfortable Suites
The best thing about Compass Hotel by Margaritaville Naples is the fact that all of the rooms are suites. You can choose from a studio suite, one bedroom suite, or a two bedroom suite. All suites come with full-sized refrigerators and private bathrooms.
We stayed in a two-bedroom suite, which had plenty of space for our family of five. The full kitchen allowed us to prepare quick snacks and meals, perfect for family travel. The suite also featured a separate desk area and 55-inch flat-screen televisions in each room, ideal for relaxation after a long day. All guest rooms are air-conditioned, and each comes with a private bathroom, which was convenient for us with kids in tow.

2. Delicious Compass Breakfast Buffet & On-Site Dining
One of the highlights of our stay was the Compass breakfast buffet. Every morning, we looked forward to a hot breakfast filled with fresh fruits, hot food options, and fresh juices. You really can’t beat pancakes by the pool! The on-site restaurant, 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill, also serves up delicious, island-inspired cuisine for a casual bite throughout the day.

The bar drinks were fantastic, and the happy hour was a treat, offering refreshing margaritas and cold drinks by the outdoor pool. We even saw some local friends who stopped by to enjoy the lively atmosphere and friendly vibe of the bar. For anyone who loves great food and drinks with a tropical twist, the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill should not be missed!

3. Family Fun and Outdoor Amenities
Our kids absolutely loved the games and outdoor amenities provided by the hotel. They spent hours playing cornhole, giant Connect Four, and other fun board games set up around the hotel. The swimming pool offered a relaxing place for us to cool off and unwind. There’s also a courtyard area with comfortable seating, where we enjoyed the beautiful Naples weather and island-inspired ambiance.

4. Prime Location and Great Facilities at a Great Price
Compass by Margaritaville Hotel Naples is in a great location that provides easy access to Naples’ main attractions without the high costs associated with beachfront stays.
It’s close enough to Lowdermilk Beach and Naples Pier for a day of sun and sand, but you’re spared the higher resort fees. It is so easy to drive around and explore nearby attractions like Tin City, Naples Zoo, and Fifth Avenue South. You can even rent a bike on property through Big Mamma’s Bike Rentals.
